DUNDEE PRECIOUS METALS TSUMEB BURSARY OPPORTUNITIES

Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb (PTY) Limited invites applications for bursaries from suitable young Namibians who wish to pursue full-time tertiary studies in selected fields at accredited universities within the SADC region. In addition to gaining an academic qualification, bursary holders will be able to launch a successful career with the Company.
Fields of Study:
- Safety Engineering
- Refractory Engineering
- Data Management/Artificial Intelligence
- Environmental Engineering or Hydrology Engineering
Bursary for host community (Oshikoto Region only) and persons with disabilities:
- Anthropology
The bursary covers:
- Travel costs.
- Personal allowance.
- Medical Aid costs.
- Registration, tuition and residential fees.
- Prescribed books and equipment allowance.
Application prerequisites:
- Applicants should be Namibian citizens.
- Applicants who are currently in Grade 12 must have obtained a 70% minimum average pass mark in all subjects.
- Applicants who are currently studying at tertiary institutions must attach academic records and must have obtained a 65% minimum average pass mark in all subjects.
- Selection of successful candidates will strictly be based on academic merit and financial needs.
