DUNDEE PRECIOUS METALS TSUMEB BURSARY OPPORTUNITIES

The closing date for applications is Friday, 19th October 2018.

Dundee Precious Metals Tsumeb (PTY) Limited invites applications for bursaries from suitable young Namibians who wish to pursue full-time tertiary studies in selected fields at accredited universities within the SADC region. In addition to gaining an academic qualification, bursary holders will be able to launch a successful career with the Company.

Fields of Study:
  • Safety Engineering
  • Refractory Engineering
  • Data Management/Artificial Intelligence
  • Environmental Engineering or Hydrology Engineering
Bursary for host community (Oshikoto Region only) and persons with disabilities:
  • Anthropology
The bursary covers:
  • Travel costs.
  • Personal allowance.
  • Medical Aid costs.
  • Registration, tuition and residential fees.
  • Prescribed books and equipment allowance.
Application prerequisites:
  • Applicants should be Namibian citizens.
  • Applicants who are currently in Grade 12 must have obtained a 70% minimum average pass mark in all subjects.
  • Applicants who are currently studying at tertiary institutions must attach academic records and must have obtained a 65% minimum average pass mark in all subjects.
  • Selection of successful candidates will strictly be based on academic merit and financial needs.
