Mesias Alfeus completed his MSc. Mathematical Finance from Stellenbosch University, South Africa. He was a recipient of the UK Commonwealth Scholarship in 2013. He established an online platform to help students with difficulties in Mathematical Sciences. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Quantitative Finance at University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). His research aims to address problems in the awake of the Global Financial Crisis (GFC) of 2007. He is also a leader in a group for Christians for Academics and PhD Students (CAPS) in the UTS Business School. He participates in International Student Leadership and Ambassador (ISLA) workshops through the City of Sydney. He is passionate and dedicated to academic works. He has Namibia at heart and willing to assist his fellow Namibians with regards to academic-related issues.
